Level 1 = no experience needed
Level 1/2 = basic foundation helpful
Level 2+ = basic foundation recommended

Newer students are welcome to attend higher level classes as long as they

understand how to stay within their body's limits and choose easier modifications

as appropriate.  When in doubt, always communicate with your instructor.

 

Preparation

 
  • New students, please arrive at least 10 minutes before class.
  • Comfortable workout attire. Layers are best, as your body temperature changes throughout your practice.
  • Remove shoes and socks before entering the studio.
  • Avoid eating 1-2 hours before class. It's best to practice on an empty stomach.
  • Drink plenty of water before and after class.
  • Bring a hand towel to wipe down with when you sweat.
  • We rent yoga mats for $1 (which everyone must have for yoga classes). We encourage you to purchase your own mat, not only for sanitary reasons, but also as a symbol of commitment to your practice.
  • Please do not bring cell phones or pagers into the studio.
  • Please be considerate of fellow practitioners and refrain from wearing perfume or cologne.
  • Yoga is a process. Be consistent and practice with patience and compassion.
